Measurement of Angiopoietin 2 tumor biomarker in plasma from colorectal cancer patients by means of a platform based on Bloch surface wave

摘要

This work focuses on the detection of picomolar concentrations of Angiopoietin 2 tumor biomarker in human plasma by means of point-of-care platform. The platform takes advantage of optimized one dimensional photonics crystals that sustain Bloch surface waves and enhance the fluorescence signal from labelled molecules immobilized on the surface.
