The need to guarantee a real-timed reconstruction, modification and repair of unrecoverable request-to-send/clear-to-send (RTS/CTS) sensitive data packets in a typical military standard (MIL-STD-1553) network protocol for an industrial internet of battle things (IIoBT) is a major research concern. A technique to reconstruct unrecoverable data in a military standard MIL-STD-1553 bus network protocol, using Bézier curves is presented in this paper. The proposed approach approximates and reconstructs nearly unrecoverable/damaged data, using the error correction code technique. Reliability of the MIL-STD-1553 bus network is guaranteed for all the distributed systems in use, especially in cases where packet re-transmission is not an optimal solution for packet failure and other related drawbacks. Simulation results presents optimal Bézier curve performance as against other investigated packet re-transmission methodologies.
