摘要

This paper describe a methodology being used to characterize shallow soil strata and geological features in an area of complex stratigraphy with occurrence of shallow faults, boulders, grooves, sea surface currents, sediment transport and sedimentary succesion, slope failure and stability, etc; necessary for planning and prevent adverse locations within a selected area for sub-surface facilities development. The analysis is performed integrating the results of specialized seismic attributes and geotechnical campaign in order to detect and further characterize geomorphic domains, classifying then them in terms of potential hazards for production installations. Introduction In Brazil Exploration geoscientists continue to make oil field discoveries at ultra-deep environments bringing with them new demands. Once these discoveries are sanctioned for development, challenges appears and geophysical and geotechnical data are necessary to be acquired. Nowadays, the understanding of large scale geological processes on subsurface are increasing importance due to economics. The main objective of the presented paper is to analyse and identify potential risk areas based on the interpretation and insight of current geological features identified by using specialized seismic attributes on the high resolution 2D profiles derived from the SBP survey, seismic data and geotechnical data integration (OGP, 2009). Then, further work by improvement of subsurface facilities can be reach integrating engineering and geophysical data.
