Analysis on Traditional Education Functions of WA Nationality

摘要

The WA nationality, which is one of the national minorities of China, gives priority to the family education in the traditional education model all the time. In such a traditional education model, all kinds of the knowledge are integrated by the people in this nationality into the production labors as well as the social life. By taking full advantage of the impartation by the languages as well as the exercises in the production practices, the whole educational task comes to end with success in the process of the production or manufacturing process as well as the socialization of the individual members of this nationality. In this paper, the primary contents of the traditional education model of the WA nationality (a national minority of China) are introduced by the author, and the important influence of such a traditional education model on the WA nationality as well as the national cultures is analyzed at the same time.
