We present a new method of estimating the Chirp signal parameter based on fractional Fourier transform (FRFT). The slope of the Chirp single is firstly estimated using FRFT according to its expectation. By redefining the variable meaning of the FRFT and the improved FRFT, the time-delay of multiple Chirp signals is estimated. The validity of the methods is demonstrated through simulations, and the proposed methods can achieve both high accuracy and less calculation.
