We have shown the individual effects of growth factor (VEGF) and elasticity on regulating the MSC differentiation into EC. Their combined effects on the maturity of differentiated MSC to EC are to be determined, and the key cell signaling pathways underlying vascular differentiation of MSCs are to be identified.
