Diagnosing the Status Quo of the Contemporary Chinese Youths' Life Values—Taking Students of Zhengzhou Institute of Aeronautical Industry Management as an Example

This study was an empirical analysis based on a survey directed to the life values of students from Zhengzhou Institute of Aeronautical Industry Management.7 types of life values of contemporary college students were identified from 21 original variables.These 7 types are: security,active and enterprising,valuing money,keeping friends with others,independence and self-determination,happiness and freedom and self-expression desire.Differences have been found between males and females.Females rated security more than males,while males rated independence and self-determination,happiness and freedom and self-expression desire more than females.
