A novel resource sharing method for IMS-based P2P applications

The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a key element in 3G cellular communication networks which aims to merge two of the most successful paradigms in communications:cellular networks and the Internet.The wide spread of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology and the possibility of making mobile terminals share the numerous resources on the Internet have attracted significant attentions recently.Thus there is a bright future in the studies on the combination of IMS and P2P Services.In this paper,we propose a novel method which can enable IMS terminals to enjoy almost all of the P2P services on the Internet at the same time reduce the data traffic among the networks efficiently.
