摘要

A sensor based on active electro-optic modulation was developed for the transient electric field measurement. The physical model of the sensor, established by the CST, was used to testify the feasibility of the overall structural design; the equivalent circuit model was used to analyze the system bandwidth through the influence of the receiving antenna parameters, such as the length and the load. Square wave pulse generated by the GTEM cell was used to measure the performance of the sensor; the results showed the sensor could meet the test requirements of the transient electric field and verified the feasibility of the design.
