Taking Environmentology in Building as an example, the concerns of connotation of teaching in new century and related curriculum construction are elaborated in this paper. In the new century, the teaching idea of Built Environment should be established to keep pace with the times. To introduce the principles and methods about comfort, health, energy conservation and green of built environment for teaching purposes, the didactical main line, which consists of forming mechanism, evolution characteristic, evaluation method and criteria of built environment is put forward from the perspective of cultivating students' thinking mode and analytical ability. In order to fit the teaching characteristics of the new century, the construction of network teaching, multimedia courseware and practice teaching are all the indispensable contents of curriculum construction.
