EOS ASTER data to retrieve land surface temperature (LST) is to be discussed and an optimal Mono-window algorithm is to be presented by eliminating the influence of atmosphere radiation. Due to inaccuracy of the present inversion algorithm to retrieve parameters such as average temperature influenced by atmosphere and transmission ratio of atmosphere according to LST, a new atmosphere parameter model to increase the accuracy of LST is to be put forward. Atmosphere water vapor is retrieved from GPS data of Continuous Operational Reference System (CORS). And a relation model between CORS and atmosphere water vapor is to be established to obtain atmosphere parameters for thermal infrared bands so as to improve the inversion precision for LST. The study is based on the tomography principle of grid to obtain accurate atmosphere water vapor content in tropospheic path. This parameter model has been validated to be of superiority by applying to retrieving atmosphere parameters form LST of Lianyungang City as well as by means of atmospheric simulation emendation method.
