Based on theoretical analysis on the TiN inclusion precipitation in the process of the production of tire cord steel and following conclusions are obtained: (1) TiN inclusion in the present level of controlling will not be precipitated above the liquidus line temperature; (2) the solidus line temperature will drop due to solidification segregation,so that the saturated line of TiN inclusion precipitation will be lower, thereby the tendency of TiN inclusion precipitation will be increased; (3) to reduce the tendency of TiN inclusion precipitation effectively, the fluctuated range of compositions should be tried to control in the range of middle-lower limit, especially the measures of eliminating solidification segregation are in the shortage.
