Research on Tourism Information Systems for Self-drive Tourists

摘要

With the development of Self-drive travel and the broad field of the Geographic Information System (GIS) application in practice,the establishment of tourism information systems for Self-drive travel is imperative.On the basic of tourist demand information collection through a questionnaire which was conducted on a website,this paper started with the analysis of the Self-drive tourists' demand and supply,then analyzed the Tourism Information System for Self-drive tourists(TISDT) from several aspects: system users,system functions,advantages,data access and equipments requested; A TISDT was designed from the following aspects: the demand of users,system objective,structure,system configuration,database design,system functions,financial and management; at last,the research discussed the system implementation,operation and maintenance,the existence of the gap,and studies prospect such as the system achieving in the mobile network platform.
