Strain in concrete columns of different strengths,monitored by cementbased strain sensor

摘要

This paper proposed the cement-based sensor made with CB-filled cement-based composite(CCN sensor)and studied the piezoresistivity.CCN sensor was made with Carbon black(CB),cement,waterreducing agent and defoamer,et al.A linear relationship between the fractional change in resistivity and compressive strain was observed for CCN sensor.Sensitivity of CCN sensor was about 55.CCN sensor was applied to measure the strain of concrete column that they were placed into the column when pouring concrete.The strength of concrete column was 40MPa and 80MPa respectively.The strain of concrete column was measured by strain gauges and smart concrete sensor simultaneously during loading.Experimental results showed that strain of concrete column before destroyed can be measured accurately by CCN sensor,and the strain-sensing ability of CCN sensor was affected by the strength of column.
