Impacts of Household Pattern, Geographical Location and Climate on Household Energy Consumption in Japan, and the Energy Saving Potential of Summer Time Concept

The study concluded that there is strong interrelationship between household energy consumption and household pattern, geographical location, climate and sunrise/sunset time. Also, the implementation of Summer Time/Double Summer Time does have significant energy saving potential in term of household lighting in Japan.
