摘要

An intelligent 3D injection mold CAD system named S3DMAD is developed, and an overall reasoning process of injection mold designing is expounded in this paper. The knowledge and database system is established, so the reasoning machine can transfer the knowledge in the knowledge base to reason, judge, which leads to the realization of the intelligent and automatic design. Then a user-friendly manipulative interface for injection mold design is implemented in order to make this system more acceptable to users. Finally an example for injection mold design is given in the paper.
