摘要

In this paper, the performance of bidirectional call overflow channel allocation scheme in hierarchical cellular systems (HCSs) with/without queuing for handoff calls is studied, the analytical results are derived and the numerical evaluation show that the scheme with queuing for handoff calls outperforms the strategy without queuing in terms of low handoff failure probability, whereas the blocking probability of new calls doesn't became worse.
