摘要

This work presents the modelling of an industrial sheet metal forming process consisting in the deep drawing of a component of a commercial washing machine. The finite element analysis is performed with a large strain hyperelastic formulation including the Hill 48 associate plasticity model. The experimental validation of the results provided by the simulation encompasses the maximum punch force together with the in-plane principal deformations and thickness distributions of the final deformed part.
