Preparation of octobultoxy-2,3-naphthalocyanine copper and the gas sensitivity of its LB film

The title complex octobultoxy 2,3-naphthalocyanine copper (II)[CoNc(OC_4H_9)_8] was sythesized, and its stable langmuir film was obtained on the pure water surfase. The molecular area and the collapse pressure are 74 A and 55mN/m respectively. The LB film is sensitive to NH_3 (80-200 ppm), methol (10-50ppm), alcohol (10-50ppm), isopropanol (10-50ppm) at room temperature. The sensitivity is increased with the carbon number of alcohol increasing at the same concentration of gas.
