A methodology for reliability analysis of integrated service digital networks

The features of a methodology for reliability analysis of a multiexchange ISDN (Integrated Service Digital Network), are presented. The methodology was developed within the conceptual framework of performability analysis and is based on a global methodology developed by the authors. Beyond reviewing and applying those theoretical foundations to this type of networks an adaptation of certain ITU-T Recommendations is made for characterizing the marginal node to node offered traffic flows in the ISDN networks.
