摘要

Planar laser-induced fluorescence of oxygen has bene performed to investigated a liquid oxygen/gaseous haydrogen turbulent flame.The hot vapor of oxygne is excited through a predissociative fluorescence scheme at 193 nm with a broad-band ArF excimer lawser.The experimental cnfiguration,where oxygne is within the flame envelope,implies that the laser beam is not absorbed befor encountering the hot oxygne in the flame sheet.Sine the fluroescence efficiency increases strongly with tmeeprature [1],oxygen is detected with a maximum sensitivity inthe flame where temeprature is the greatest.Thus,such a configuration offers the opportunity of detecting the flame from ht oxygen fluorescene images.
