The Comprehensive Intellectual Controller of Voltage and Reactive Power in Substation

The paper describes the principles and techniques for carrying out comprehensive control of voltage reactivity in substations by using the 8098 single chip processor. By the use of the alternating sampling method, the criteria required by the laws for the comprehensive control of voltage reactivity are derived and the intellectual devices with the 8098 single chip processor as the cord are designed. Applying the enormous resources of both hardware and software of the 8098 single chip processor, it is possible to make the comprehensive control of reactivity more rational and dependable so that the quality of power supply in the power network is bettered and the network loss is lessened, thus making the operation of the network more economical.
