Research on the Local Government Promoting Sci-Tech Finance Based on SEM Model——A case study on Jiangsu Province

The integration of sci-tech and finance is a powerful support on the growth of regional economy,and the local government is the guider that promotes the development of sci-tech and finance.Through the path analysis of the local government’s support on the sci-tech innovation,the structural equation model is established,and empirical studies are conducted for the local government’s guidance to the sci-tech and financial development by taking southern and northern Jiangsu as examples.The empirical results show the financial market in northern Jiangsu is less developed,and the capital source for the high-tech industrial development is endogenous.Secondly,the local government’s guiding and contribution degree to the sci-tech finance in southern Jiangsu is remarkably higher than that in northern Jiangsu.Finally,the related policy advices for promoting the sci-tech and financial development are proposed.
