Mechanochromic behavior of side-chain spiropyran polymer films

摘要

Polymethacrylate containing spirpyran at side-chain were prepared and their mechano/photo induced color change was evaluated. The film comprising SP polymer showed a color change by mechanical force, and showed the same color change upon UV light irradiation. As for mechanochromism, the color change depending on condition of mechanical force was also investigated
