Design options for a Multi-beam/multi-band Airborne Antenna

摘要

A multi-band/multi-beam airborne antenna provides the flexibility to use different satellites in different bands to enhance coverage, increase throughputs and enable access to different services on different satellites. The key requirements for such an antenna were presented in [1]. This contribution provides a review of the antenna specifications and proposes some design options for the arrays used in such antennas.
