Compound Poisson Process and Its Applications in Business

摘要

The standard prediction methods cannot be used to model the events which occur at irregular time intervals. This paper presents a new approach which applies a compound Poisson process to sense and analyze business cost in areas such as product revalidation and campaign predictions. The paper also highlighted how the process can be used to predict campaign donations.
