Investigation into the Moment of Inertia Estimation Process Occurring in Electric Drive of a Mechatronic System

摘要

The subject of the paper is research into the knowledge about the errors sources occurring in the moment of inertia estimation process taking place in the automatic speed control subsystems operating in the mechatronic systems. The new estimator structure containing the data selection subsystem is proposed and tested with simulation investigations. As the result, the significant 100-fold error reduction in the moment of inertia estimation process is obtained.
