To ensure the dynamic compensation performance of the parallel injection hybrid active power filter (IHAPF) input into the grid, established the Real Time Digital Simulation (RTDS) loop simulation system of the parallel IHAPF using on-line simulation software. The switch frequency of Parallel HIAPF is up to several kHz, conventional RTDS model library can't achieve high frequency simulation, for the modeling difficulties of the parallel IHAPF, using RTDS small step model approach. Introducing the small step modeling approach of the parallel IHAPF in details, and summarized the key and difficulty of modeling, the 35kV substation closed-loop simulation results verify the correct of model. The modeling approach has a significant guiding for the closed-loop RTDS modeling of high switching frequency equipments.
