Conclusions: Our preliminary results suggest that Fibrin/PEGDM-SAM hydrogels constitute a potential candidate for dermal tissue engineering. Histological analysis will be completed to further assess scaffold remodeling including de novo extracellular matrix protein synthesis and early stage angiogenesis analysis. Mechanical and rheological measurements will be conducted to investigate the mechanical properties of our new biomaterials.
