In mobile communications with multiple carriers that operate on a similar geographic area (heterogeneus network), of which cause high interference effects. Received Total Wideband Power (RTWP) values is used as one of indicators of radio frequency interferences on Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS), which is a primary contribution of degrading QoS in cellular communication system. To solve this problem, the RF bandpass filter implemented in the UMTS system, wherein the RF bandpass filter has been designed and tested in previous research. RF bandpass filter type butterworth circuit two half sections obtained as the most optimal design RF filter than the other section. Signal input from spectrum analyzer and AWGN on simulation testing will generate characteristic response signal input+noise and signal RF filter output. Characteristics signal AWGN and spectrum analyzer has a different magnitude value based on simulation test.
