In the present study nickel catalysts suppotyrf on pristine and SiO_2-mbdified ZrO_2 were tested for the glycerol steam reforming reaction. An improved ability toproduce.hydrogen (S_(H2) & Y_(H2)) was observed for the Ni/SiZr catalyst for the whole temperature range investigated. As for reaction's liquid products the presence of acetaldehyde, acrolein, acetone, allyl alcohol, acetic acid, atetpl and phenol can be stated for all.experiments and..for reaction temperatures lower than 650 °C.
