Design and Application of the Web-Based Autonomous English Learning Platform Based on the Cultivation of Students' Thinking Ability

In the English learning, students generally have the ability of critical thinking. Their ability of critical thinking sometimes surprises teachers, but many of them are unwilling or not good at it. Students' critical thinking ability is the driving force for learning and mastering the English knowledge. Teachers should be good at mobilizing their love and cultivating their ability in this respect. We should combine more speeches in class with more lectures after class, and give them more opportunities to show their critical thinking talents. We can create more opportunities for students to lecture in class through the classroom discussion and debates. The design and rational application of the web-based autonomous English learning platform based on the cultivation of the students' critical thinking will provide important help for students to learn and use English well.
