In this work, 120 herbal medicine samples of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi) before and after the sulfur fumigation process were measured by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy and analyzed by support vector machine technology. The results show that the advanced algorithm used in this paper can get a classification accuracy rate of 100%. This technology can be used to qualitatively identify the herbal medicine with and without artificial treatment.
