摘要

The study on harmonization of mega-yachts’ individualized formative design above the waterline and hull lines design below the waterline has not been conducted systematically yet. In this paper, taking megayacht over 150 feet as research object, it aims at the wind resistance performance variation of the superstructure of the mega-yacht caused by different formative shapes as well as weight and the position of center of gravity of the yacht variation caused by different general arrangement of cabins and equipments according to different performance requirement from mega-yacht owner. This paper covers the following content: harmonization study on formative design from the aesthetic angle; harmonization study on the whole ship weight, center of gravity and the hull shape that is based on the owner’s performance requirement; wind resistance performance study based on CFD numerical simulation on different formative shape of the superstructure. The method of rapid formation of the yacht hull below waterline after the determination of individualized formative design of yacht’s superstructure and the determination of general arrangement of cabins and major equipments is put up with, which do contribution to study for mega-yacht’s formative and hull harmonization.
