Don't Lose Your Mind: Brain-Computer Interfaces, Autonomy, and the Necessity of Engineering Ethics

Consumer uses of Brain Computer Interfaces are overtaking medical applications. The understanding of individual autonomy and incorporation of ethics into these interfaces are discussed in this paper. Some recommendations on engineering training for future devices are presented here.
