Considering pure electric mini-buses, a vehicle control system is constructed using a driving layer and an intelligent control layer. After the work modes are analyzed for the pure electric vehicle, the vehicle control strategy is studied, consisting of the pedal signal processing module, failure processing modules, and torque fuzzy logic control module. A road experiment shows that a maximum speed of 102 km/h can be reached, and the travel distance per full charge is 154 km (60 km/h @ speed). This study proves that the control strategy is effective.
