SHMS: A Smart Phone Self-health Management System Using Data Mining

摘要

This work presents a smart phone-based self-health management system that aims at recording and interpreting users' physiological data so as to ensure the early detection of complex diseases, such as Diabetes. On the basis of all recorded information, the proposed system can estimate the probability of several diseases inflicting users using a multiple classifiers model. The system also provides patients with health recommendations based on their diet. In the demonstration, users may interact with the SHMS to gain a wide variation of results, which include the following: (ⅰ) self diagnosis results based on current and historical physiological data; (ⅱ) analysis results based on daily meals; and (ⅲ) health recommendations based on the results of (ⅰ) and (ⅱ).
