By non-linear fitting tool and matrix methods respectively, the Prony series coefficients of the generalized Maxwell model are obtained from dynamic frequency sweep (FS) tests data of AC-13C, AC-25C asphalt mixtures. The fitted results show that asphalt mixture can be treated as either a viscoelastic solid or a viscoelastic liquid, in both cases the sum of relaxation modulus E_k, are the same. When the phase angles of asphalt mixture are small, the fitted results of the storage modulus E' are closer the fitted results of the dynamic modulus E; while the fitted results of the storage modulus E" are not so closer to the fitted results of the dynamic modulus E.
