Development and construction of e-government in China under information age

Economic and information globalization is the development megatrend of the world. Central Committee of the Party proposed clearly, the e-government is the focus of the national information work as for a time, the Government first, driving informatization in the national economy and social development. Comprehensively use of information technology to promote and improve the relationship between the government with citizens, businesses, non-governmental organizations and other government departments. To construct service-oriented government meet the requirements of the Information Age which is clean, efficient, transparent, practical. Combined with Chinese national conditions and background e-government development, this paper brings forward the idea of e-government construction.
