Design of Special Welding Machine Based on Open CNC System

The Motion control card is used to design the rotational parts of the welding machine. The motion control card or the entire CNC unit is inserted into the expansion slot of general PC. PC is used for file management, user interface and communications functions of the non-real-time part. The real-time control is carried out by the units of expansion slot or the motion control cards.2D laser displacement sensor is used to measure the welding data, transmitted via the serial port control system to realize the real-time measurement and the real-time welding. The results of the test show that this mechanism boasts of the advantages of stability, smoothness etc. Positioning accuracy can be achieved as well, Therefore it complies with the requirement of welding.
