摘要

In order to investigate the effect of influencing factors on the deformation of stainless steel flexural members,the finite-element analysis method (FEA) was adopted to calculate 520 stainless steel Ibeams in this paper. The values of the plastic adaptation coefficient y were defined and the theoretical formulae were also proposed by using the non-linear fitting method. Based on the relationship between moment and curvature,a new method for calculation of deflections during loading process was proposed,in which the material non-linearity was considered. The results indicate that the nonlinear material property of stainless steel has very significant effect on the deformation of stainless steel flexural members. And the proposed formulae are in good agreement with the FEA results.
