摘要

The method of buckling-restrained hot rolled H-section steel brace by the channel steel connected with its flange through the slotted holes is put forward in this paper. The section types and joint construction of this new brace are outlined and corresponding elastic stability capability and design methods are obtained, including the strength of bolts and distance between bolts,as well as the length of slotted hole. Finally,the design procedures are presented.
