The characteristics of traditional vehicle brake were analyzed first. Based on ERF's ER effect, working mechanism and working model, a new vehicle brake which is the ERF smart vehicle brake has been designed successfully. Its structure and brake torque's size have also been analyzed, designed and calculated. The result showed that it's practical.
