The p53 tumor suppressor gene, located on the DNAencodes a nuclear phosphor-protein with cancerinhibitingproperties. However, the development ofhuman cancer often involves inactivation of thissuppressor function through various mechanismsincluding gene deletions and point mutation .In this paper, Hartree – Fock calculations have beencarried out to investigate the solvent effects on thethermo chemical parameters and relative energies as wellas multinuclear NMR shielding tensors of Oxygen,Nitrogen and Phosphorous nuclei of CUA in the fivedifferent solvents such as ethanol, methanol, DMSO,aceton and water.
