In order to enhance customer satisfaction and lower costs, they must effectively balance supply and demand ateach distinct production site simultaneously. Therefore, an effective supply chain management and planningmechanism is needed that can adequately adjust and adapt supply and demand plans to demand and pricefluctuations. Supply network planning is used to allocate demand to manufacturing sites based on demandinformation, supply information from each site, and information on some constraints. We may develop a directedgraph-based supply network planning system framework based on the following objectives:1. Provide an interface to maintain planning rules, which are used to decide the consumption priorities of thesupply site, finished goods inventory, and material inventory.2. Develop a simulation engine that can generate planning rules based on different supply constraints.3. Graphically display demand and supply pegging results.
