Clonal C-Fuzzy Decision Tree (C 2 FDT) for Workforce Forecast

Effectively forecasting the demand of future workforce in its size and mix play a critical role in the success of anorganization. Previously, several approaches have been proposed to forecast workforce demand in real time.However, the effectiveness in predicting the optimal workforce under volatile customer demand has not yet beenfully addressed. In this respect, this paper presents a Clonal C-Fuzzy Decision Tree (C 2 FDT) for forecasting theoptimal size and mix of a workforce. In order to investigate the efficacy of the proposed methodology, ahypothetical case of a courier service is presented.
