A Model to Minimizing Trade-offs Between FDT and On-land-operational Costs

Today, airline companies operate in increasingly competitive markets. Airline companies with a linear network struc-tureoperate with elevated on-land operational costs and their flight departure times (FDTs) do not always satisfythe market demand. To approach this problem, the authors present a mathematical model that minimizes trade-offsbetween FDT spill opportunity cost and on-land operational costs.
