During World War II, German U-boats crossed the Bay of Biscay to disrupt the Allied logistical forces in the NorthAtlantic. In response, planes were dispatched to search and destroy these submarines. Over the years attempts havebeen made to model this scenario because it can give insight into military operations. One modeling paradigm usedto analyze this scenario is Agent-Based Modeling (ABM). Validating this and other ABM scenarios presents uniquechallenges with respect to more traditional simulation paradigms. These challenges in ABM validation arehighlighted and we present our proposed solution by replicating this scenario.
