摘要

ASTROD1 mission is a space science program advocated by Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The present work is a first cooperation between CAST and ASTROD 1 team. In this paper, radiation environment for the ASTROD 1 spacecraft from galaxy cosmic ray (GCR), solar event particles (SEP), solar wind and solar electromagnetic radiation are considered. Main radiation effects on ASTROD I, including total dose effect in electronics, displacement damage in lasers, darkeningcontamination in optics are discussed. It is also proposed to have a radiation monitor onboard to monitor environmental effects. The space environment data collected by ASTROD 1 in inner heliosphere will be very helpful for future interplanetary space program.
