THE CONTENS AND ITS GAS POOL FORMING SIGNIFICANCE OF OOLITIC RESERVOIR PYROBITUMEN AT FEIXIANGUAN FORMATION IN THE NORTHEASTERN SICHUAN BASIN, SW CHINA
A number of oolitic dolomite gas fields with excellent pore reservoir have recently been discovered in the Lower Triassic oolitic reservoirs in the northeastern Sichuan basin. Of all the gas fields, The Puguang natural gas field containing over 250 billion cubic meters proven gas reserves has become the biggest in Sichuan basin. In addilition, Four large and medium-sized gas fields discovered so far in this region(i.e.,Luojiazhai, Tieshanpo, Dokouhe and Gunziping) has over 50,30,30,and 10 billion cubic meters proven gas reserves respectively, and these is a small gas field (Jinzhuping ,with over 2 billion cubic meters proven gas reserves) and two gas reservoirs (i.e.,Qilibei and Zhengbanan, with over 30 and 8 billion cubic meters gas reserves respectively). The oolitic reservoirs in these gas fields/ reservoirs generally contain abundant pyrobitumen, especially in the large and medium-sized gas fields.
